You Can’t Be Perfect Every Day
You Can’t Be Perfect Every Day
You can’t be perfect. Especially not every day.
Even though I’ve worked on my mental and physical health for years and built systems that truly help me, I still have days where everything feels heavy. Days where motivation is hard to find. Days where my energy just isn’t there.
And that’s okay.
I think it’s important to share the highs and the lows. Too often, we only show the wins, the good workouts, the good moods, the smiles. But the truth is, even when you’ve built a strong mindset and found your rhythm in life, you’ll still have those off days. It doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’re human.
The difference now, compared to before, is that I’m better equipped to handle it. When I’m having a lower day, I know what to do. I know how to get through it. I don’t spiral the way I used to, because I’ve built tools that bring me back to center.
For me, that starts with journaling, getting my thoughts out instead of letting them build up. Then I focus on breathworkand meditation to calm my mind and slow down my thoughts. Sometimes I’ll read, to shift my focus and remind myself of the bigger picture. But the most important thing I do is practice gratitude.
I remind myself of how much I truly have to be thankful for my son, a special someone, my health, and this opportunity I have every day to grow and help others. When I focus on that, the heaviness starts to lift. Gratitude helps ground me.
No one can be perfect every day. You don’t have to be. What matters is how you handle the moments when you’re not.
So always Keep Going.
Because life’s darkness is just like the night. The sun goes down, it gets dark, but it always becomes light again.
