37 Years of Growth: A Birthday Reflection
37 Years of Growth: A Birthday Reflection
Today I turn 37. Another candle on the cake, another year of lessons, and another reminder of just how far I’ve come. Birthdays have a way of making you pause, reflect, and measure the journey. And when I look back at mine, I see one common thread running through it all—the Keep Going Mentality.
Life hasn’t been perfect. In fact, it’s been anything but. There have been seasons of struggle, moments of doubt, and times where giving up seemed easier than pushing forward. But growth doesn’t come from comfort—it comes from persistence. Every challenge I’ve faced, every setback I’ve endured, has been another opportunity to rise, to grow, and to keep going when it would’ve been easier to stop.
At 37, I see life with a new perspective. I realize now that growth isn’t about chasing perfection—it’s about embracing progress. It’s about waking up every day and choosing to move forward, even when yesterday felt heavy. It’s about learning from the past without living in it, and walking into the future with both gratitude and determination.
This journey has shaped me into who I am today: a man committed to health, mental strength, fatherhood, and inspiring others to see what they’re capable of. And while I celebrate today, I know the work isn’t done. There’s more growing, more learning, and more impact to make.
Here’s to 37 years of lessons, love, and resilience. And here’s to the years ahead—because no matter what comes next, the mentality remains the same: Keep going.
